Meet The Owner

Hi! My name is Caleb Fairburn. I am the founder of Social Surge, a video production marketing company. I also work as the creative director for a larger commercial production company in Oklahoma City. With over a decade of experience in content creation and social media marketing, I’ve specialized in this industry always aiming to help businesses and individuals build a name for themselves. I prioritize authentic, long-term partnerships with clients who see the value in connecting with their community.

A little about me. I have lived in many states but have called Oklahoma City home for over 10 years now. I graduated from Newcastle High School in 2011, then received a degree in Science from Tulsa while running a wholesale business in 2013. In 2017 I started a furnishings business in Charlotte, NC that then grew to Oklahoma City and Southern Ohio to which I then decided to retire the business in 2022. I then started content creation and working as the operations and social media manager for a large insurance company in South Carolina. Although I enjoyed crafting with my hands, my passion lies in creating compelling visual narratives, and I thrive on bringing creative visions to life through video. The proof’s in the pudding, with my personal social media platforms collectively racking up 100k followers, 100’s of millions of views and millions of likes. I have a passion creating for fun so I figured it may be my calling to help others do so as well.

Outside of work I’ve developed a love for Golf recently. I grew up loving sports and played basketball, baseball and football my whole life. When I first moved to Oklahoma City in 2009 I got the opportunity to see the OKC Thunder play against one of my favorite players at the time, John Wall. I then got to meet Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden who I Later learned were all amazing players. In this city of sports I then found myself at OU football games shortly after. I can confidently say I’m a true Okie now and love our local sports teams. Aside from sports though I find pleasure learning new skills. Some of my hobbies are making personal video content, hand making pens, crafting woodwork, creating art, playing disc golf and I love to travel or simply explore my local city. I’m the type of person that’s usually down for just about anything.

Although I love my hobbies, my family and God comes before all else. I am a devoted husband to a beautiful wife, whom I have been with for over 9 years now. Together, we have two wonderful children: a spirit filled 8-year-old daughter and a very chill 2-year-old son. My wife and I met in Edmond, OK when she was attending UCO in 2014 and we’ve been pretty inseparable ever since. Our testimony is something we find much value in as we have built our lives together around it. Faith plays a large part of our lives and although we are fairly new members of Life Church I’ve managed to secure a spot on their creative team and get the opportunity to help create and manage content for Life Church.

My family and I have no limits when it comes to friends and family. They mean the world to us and we’ll do anything for them. I hope that every client I have we build a personal relationship and that I may get to know you as you have gotten to know a slight bit about me.
